Excavations in Kenya suggest that the region was the home to Homo habilis, from whom Homo sapiens our ancestors, descended, some 3.25 million years ago. Early Kenya history evidence shows that man's prehistoric ancestors roamed Kenya as early as four million years ago.

Enkapune Ya Muto, also known as Twilight Cave, is a Late Stone Age site on the Mau Escarpment of Kenya. Beads made of perforated ostrich egg shells found at the site have been dated to 40,000 years ago. The beads found at the site represent some of the earliest known personal ornaments.

Day1 Arrive Nairobi
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be received by Sure Connections Safaris (K) Ltd. representative and transferred to New Stanley Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi / Olorgasaillie site
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for a full day excursion to the pre-historic Olorgasaillie site which is located along Magadi road, an hour's drive and 70kms away from Nairobi.  Olorgesailie pre-historic site is world renown as the "factory of stone tools" and the only place in the world with the largest number. The prominence and accumulation of human tools represents actual camping places of early men and evidence that human species had a tropical origin. The site is in a lake basin that existed about 100,000 to 200,000 years more
