Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be welcomed by Sure Connections Safaris (K) Ltd. representative and transferred to Boulevard Hotel for overnight and dinner in readiness for an Sure Connections Safaris (K) Ltd. family safari the following day.

Day 2: Nairobi - Samburu game National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up and depart for the dramatic semi-arid scrub land of the Northern Frontier. You will arrive in Samburu by mid-day. After lunch embark on a game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the rare Blue-necked Somali Ostrich. Dinner and overnight will be at the Samburu Sopa lodge.

Day 3: Samburu National Park
After breakfast, and packed lunch, spend the full day exploring the park. Some highlights of Samburu game reserve include the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. Local community has a rich cultural heritage and it is worth to organize a visit to one village. The reserve has numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which include leopards, hippos, elephants, lions, reticulated giraffes, grevy's zebras and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries. We return to the lodge later in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Samburu - Mt Kenya - Fishing/camel walk
Early after breakfast, we check out of the lodge and drive to the foot of Mt Kenya and check in at Timau River lodge just in time for lunch. The afternoon will be spent taking a guided nature walk, camel walk/ trout fishing - Dinner and overnight stay at Timau River lodge

Day 5: Mt. Kenya - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru. Arrival will be in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, located inside the Lake Nakuru National Park. In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive where you will have the opportunity to spot leopards, rhino and the famous pink flamingos as well as a variety of other wildlife.

Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara
After an early morning boat ride we then head back to the hotel for breakfast then drive to Masai Mara - the land of vast migrating animals to arrive in good time for lunch at Mara Kichakani Camp - Afternoon game drives followed by . Dinner and overnight at Mara Kichakani Camp

Day 7: Maasai Mara
Spend a full day exploring the park in search of the Big 5. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost.

The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa' was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of African wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the Mara Plains, through the Mara River and into the Serengeti in Tanzania. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with birdlife of about 452 species having been recorded. Day 8 Maasai Mara - Walking With Maasai guide
Early morning game drive then return to the camp for breakfast - spend the rest of the morning swimming in the lodge - Lunch then talk a two-hour nature walk with the Maasai guide who is conversant with the local flora and fauna. You will also visit Maasai manyattas to learn more about the cultural traditions of the  maasai (who are allowed to reside in the park).Return to Mara Kichakani camp for dinner and overnight stay

Day 9: Maasai Mara -Nairobi
On this day we will do our last morning game drive then return to the Camp for breakfast and check out of the lodge,  exit the park and drive to Nairobi to arrive by mid afternoon just in time for  lunch. Afterwards, we will visit Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Centre, and then proceed to the Carnivore Restaurant for dinner. The Carnivore is famous for its wild game delicacies. After dinner you will be dropped off to the airport to catch your flight home.
